My Current Favorite Cozy Essentials

Hi guys! I hope you all are doing well during this time and staying safe and healthy! It’s been a minute since my last post – sorry about that! I can’t believe how much has changed in such a short amount of time. Legit, we went from traveling to Australia to being under a shelter in place order in the span of two weeks… Crazy!

In all honesty, I haven’t felt like posting in a while. With everything that has been going on, I needed to take a break from social media. I’ve been feeling very anxious about the situation (as I’m sure we all are!) and have been choosing to focus on my mental health more than anything. During this time, I’ve been staying with my family, working from home, and trying to stay positive.

Today I thought I would jump back in by sharing some of my current favorite cozy essentials! I am all about cozy items and have collected some favorites over the years! These items have been bringing me some comfort in the current situation and have been what I’ve been wearing/using non-stop over the past two months. Although the shelter in place orders are starting to be lifted, I know I will be working from home for some time, and I bet many of you are in the same boat! Therefore, if you’re looking for some cozy essentials to bring you comfort while at home, I highly recommend these ones!

ONE / Zella Live In Leggings

I purchased these Zella leggings during last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale (also seen here), and I’ve been wearing them so much! They are so comfy and perfect for both lounge and for exercise! They have definitely been a daily staple for me right now.

TWO / Barefoot Dreams Cardigan

Ok, Barefoot Dreams products are definitely expensive, but hear me out… I genuinely think they are worth it! This is probably the softest/comfiest cardigan I have ever owned! I have been reaching for it so much while staying at home. It’s such an easy layer to throw on for some warmth and it’s perfect for both lounging at home and for going out to run (essential) errands! I also get compliments on it every time I wear it! Barefoot Dreams offers many other styles of cardigans (I also own and love this one!) and they come in several colors.

THREE / Tommy John Joggers

These joggers from Tommy John are some of the comfiest sweats I have ever owned! While they are pricey for joggers, they are so soft and perfect for lounging around the house. I have been wearing them non-stop while working from home (shh no one needs to know you’re wearing pjs on the bottom!). Seriously, I’m wearing them now as I’m writing this. You need these in your life! I also own several pjs from Tommy John and am obsessed with all of them.

FOUR / Barefoot Dreams Blanket

Chances are you’ve heard all about the Barefoot Dreams blankets. While $140 for a blanket probably seems absolutely insane, I swear they are really soft and comfy and you will definitely get your money’s worth! Warm blankets are a MUST for me living in SF (while I love SF, it can be very cold!), and this one is so cozy!

FIVE / Silk Pillowcase

I recently purchased this silk pillowcase and I have been loving it! Silk pillowcases tout a lot of benefits such as preventing wrinkles and keeping your hair smooth. While I can’t speak to the wrinkle prevention yet, I do find that my hair has been looking less messy in the mornings! I also love the way the silk feels on my skin!

SIX / thisworks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray

I received this pillow spray in a FabFitFun box and it is now a must-have of mine! I tend to have a hard time falling asleep, but this spray has been helping so much! Before I go to bed, I spray a few spritzes onto my sheets and pillowcase, and the soothing scent helps me to fall asleep. If you struggle with falling asleep, I would highly recommend giving this a try!

Tip: on nights when I’m really wired, I also love to use the Headspace app! The “Wind Downs” really help me turn off my thoughts and drift to sleep. This app and the sleep mist are a perfect combo!

SEVEN / Free People Happiness Runs Crop

This crop top from Free People is another newer fave of mine! In fact, I love it so much that I just purchased it in four other colors! This top is so comfy to wear around the house and to sleep in. It’s technically a workout top, but I prefer it for lounging as I need a bit more support. You could definitely wear it as a workout top though if you have a smaller chest or are doing a low impact workout!

EIGHT / Aerie Sunday Soft Sweatshirt

This sweatshirt from Aerie is my new obsession! I basically haven’t taken it off since I received it in the mail a few weeks ago – don’t judge me! It is so comfy! It comes in several colors – I own it in the grey and green shades – and it’s currently 30% off!
