This is one of my new favorite casual outfits for this fall/winter season! In the past, I’ve shied away from the vest trend as I didn’t find them to be that flattering. However, when I tried on this Old Navy olive vest, my opinion changed. I also love that by just adding on a simple vest, you can instantly tie together a basic outfit.
This Old Navy olive vest is still fully stocked in all regular sizes. As with all Old Navy clothing, I would recommend sizing down for a more fitted look – I’m wearing an XS. This vest also comes in a few other colors (I really like the pink too!) and is currently on sale for $25! Such a steal! I love that this vest is lightweight so it doesn’t feel bulky and is very flattering, but still adds a nice layer on top of an outfit. This is a perfect look for warmer fall/winter days.
I paired the vest with the same Banana Republic turtleneck sweater I shared in this post. It’s only available in a few sizes, so here are a few similar styles also from Banana Republic (here, here, and here). The best news is that all of these sweaters are currently 40% off! My jeans are a longtime fave of mine from American Eagle – their denim fits me the best!
This faux fur combat boot style has been popping up everywhere this year and I am obsessed with it! I love that these boots are both stylish and functional. My exact boots look to be sold out from Old Navy, but these are very similar. These ones also look nice and have a bit of a stacked heel, which I love. Another option is this style which comes in both taupe and black.
I also think this outfit looks really nice paired with a simple scarf. My exact one is no longer available, but you could achieve a similar look with a basic white scarf or with a grey and white striped scarf like this one.
