This Anne Klein burgundy coat from Macy’s is my new obsession! If there’s one thing I love, it’s the color burgundy! It’s such a beautiful, rich color that’s perfect for the winter season. I also love the silhouette of this coat – it’s so classic and very flattering! I wore this coat for this first time when we were in Pebble Beach over the holidays and I’ve worn it several times since! It’s definitely a new closet staple of mine!
Surprisingly, this is the first burgundy coat I’ve owned, but I’m certain it won’t be my last! I’ve purchased a few Anne Klein coats over the years, and I love the fit of them and how high quality they are. They tend to work well for petite frames too, which is a huge plus – for reference, I’m wearing a 0. This coat is still fully stocked in burgundy, black, and sapphire blue – all are classic colors and would be great wardrobe staples!
On this day, I went for a casual look as I wanted to be comfortable while we spent the day walking around. I paired the coat with a black turtleneck, high waisted jeans, and a pair of Nike’s (old, similar here). I’ve also worn it to work paired with a sweater and some heeled booties. I think this coat would also look great styled with a dress or a skirt and a blouse, if your work has a more professional dress code. The classic shape of this coat makes it easy to dress up and down!
As I mentioned, I wore this coat while we were in Pebble Beach after Christmas. Pebble Beach has become somewhat of a yearly tradition for my family and I around the holidays and I look forward to it each year! It might be my favorite place – it’s so beautiful!
