The Best Off-the-Shoulder Sweater for Fall

As we are getting closer to the official start of fall (aka my favorite season for fashion!), I’ve been starting to transition my wardrobe over to more fall-themed pieces and tones. This gorgeous off-the-shoulder sweater checks off both of those boxes. Truly, in my opinion, it’s the best off-the-shoulder sweater for fall!

I am absolutely loving this off-the-shoulder sweater from Lulus for fall! It’s especially great for the transition period as the off-the-shoulder style makes it a bit more summery. However, the beautiful rust color is perfect for the fall months! I love the off-the-shoulder trend as it provides a fun addition to a basic piece and makes it a bit more sexy and flirty! This sweater is only $40 and also comes in a blush color. I sized up to a Medium as I wanted this sweater to be a bit looser.

I clearly don’t follow the no white after Labor Day rule, as I paired the sweater with my favorite white jeggings from American Eagle (also seen in this post). While transitioning to fall style, I love adding pops of white to outfits as it gives off a more summery vibe. These white jeggings are super stretchy and comfy – I sized up one to a 6. They are mostly out of stock, but this pair looks really similar. I also love this ripped style!

To finish out the outfit, I added this Brixton hat which is my favorite for the fall (also featured in this post)! I love the neutral color – it pairs so well with most fall-toned outfits! It also comes in black and grey and in a variety of sizes – I ordered an XS. Brixton hats are so well made! I also love their Joanna straw hat (seen in this post)!

These cognac sandals have been a long-time favorite of mine (also seen in this post)! The heel isn’t too high so they are comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I also own them in black! Another selling point is that they are less than $50 – a great price point for a quality pair of shoes!

Lastly, I picked up this dainty necklace in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and have been wearing it non-stop! It adds a really cute and subtle detail to outfits! I personally prefer silver on my skin tone, but it also comes in gold and rose gold.

What are your go-to summer to fall transition pieces?
