For me, a mini skirt is a basic summer staple! It’s the perfect casual piece for hot summer days. While you can’t go wrong with a classic denim blue mini skirt, why not opt for a pink mini skirt instead! It’s a fun piece that when paired with a white t-shirt and a denim jacket, makes for a great casual chic summer outfit!
My exact mini skirt is from Free People and is no longer available. However, this pink mini skirt from Free People is very similar! For some other mini skirt options, I also think this a-line skirt from ASOS is really cute (it’s a bit more dressy) and this vegan suede skirt from Free People would be great both for the summer and as we transition to fall style too!
To keep with the casual vibe, I paired the mini skirt with a cropped white t-shirt from Target. This outfit would also look cute with a cropped tank (like this one or this one)! To tie the look together, I also added a denim jacket – this one from H&M is my favorite (also seen here and here). Lastly, I wore the comfiest sneakers from Target (perfect for running around town in) and my trusty Ray Ban sunglasses!
These photos were taken on our trip to Australia back in February (which now feels like a lifetime ago)! I wore this look while exploring Sydney! It was the perfect outfit to wear while walking around the Royal Botanic Garden and watching the sunset at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, which is a pretty dreamy location for a quick photoshoot!
