Olive has always been one of my go-to colors for summer and fall. It’s such a universally flattering color and I think it looks really nice with white and blue tones, like I’m wearing here! This olive shorts and white tank combo has been one of my favorite outfits this summer, along with this one! I’ve been wearing both looks so much and couldn’t wait to share this one with you. It’s a perfect casual and affordable outfit that’s great for warm summer days!
Olive shorts are a must-have summer wardrobe essential! They are perfect in that they are a casual piece but still look put together. And they are so comfortable and great to wear on hot days! For some other olive shorts styles, I also like these pairs from Target, Lulus, Old Navy, Macy’s, and Nordstrom.
Another classic wardrobe essential is a denim jacket! They are such great staple pieces to have in your closet. They look great paired with so many different outfits, such as rompers, white jeans, and sundresses! For another example of how to style a denim jacket, also see this post.
My white cropped tank top is from American Eagle and is another favorite piece I picked up this summer. This exact one is sold out, but this tank top from Free People is similar. I also love to pair a cropped white tank with high-waisted denim shorts or jeans and some heeled sandals (like these) to dress the outfit up a little!
Here’s what the outfit looks like without the denim jacket. I think the jacket ties everything together, but on really warm days I’ll wear it without!
