Frolicking in the Mustard Fields

Tank | Cardigan (old, similar here) | Jeans

Although it still feels like winter here in the Bay Area, flowers are starting to bloom and it’s making me dream of spring! Currently, the mustard fields are in bloom and it’s truly spectacular! I recently came across a couple of fields on a drive, and I had to stop and check them out.

It was warmer out on this day, so I put on a new olive button front tank top from American Eagle. I love the style of it and I’m all about the olive color – I think it’s so flattering! It comes in several other colors and is currently 25% off and fully stocked in all sizes. It wasn’t warm enough yet to simply wear a tank top, so I threw this grey cardigan on top. I purchased this cardigan from Old Navy last year and have gotten a lot of wear out of it. This one from Old Navy looks similar to mine. P.s. if you missed it, I talked in this post about my love for cardigans and how versatile they are.

I also wore my new favorite jeans from American Eagle. They’re so comfy and stretchy, but don’t lose their shape (one of my pet peeves when it comes to denim). They come in a great neutral color – it’s a nice lighter shade of blue and doesn’t have too much fading/whiskering. They are also 25% off, making them less than $40! I also featured these jeans in this post.

Are you dreaming of spring like I am?

Where were these fields in the Bay Area? I have been trying to find flower fields with easy access to let daughter experience it. Thanks!

Hi Naomi! This one was in Morgan Hill. I’ve seen quite a few while driving around the South Bay. I hope you and your daughter are able to find a good one!
