How to Spend an Afternoon at the Lodge at Pebble Beach

While we were visiting Pebble Beach back in December, we spent our last afternoon at the Lodge at Pebble Beach. Although I’ve stayed in Pebble Beach a few times, I hadn’t spent much time at the Lodge. We decided to fix that on this trip and took the shuttle over to grab lunch and walk around. If you’re visiting the property, here is how to spend an afternoon at the Lodge at Pebble Beach.

If you’re visiting the Lodge, I would recommend coming by for lunch. There are quite a few dining options available on the property, but my recommendation is the Gallery Cafe. They offer “build your own” omelets and Bloody Mary’s at lunch that are delicious! If the weather is nice, grab a spot on the terrace where you can relax and watch the golfers on the nearby greens as you eat.

After lunch, walk around the courtyard and pop into the shops. Even if you aren’t in the market to buy anything, it’s a perfect spot to window shop! If you’re there around Christmas-time, you can admire all the poinsettias – very festive!

Alternatively, you can visit the Spa at Pebble Beach. I’ve visited a few times in the past and it is an ideal setting that feels like an oasis. It’s the perfect place to spend a few hours relaxing and being pampered.

While visiting the Lodge, you can’t miss walking around the grounds. The hotel is very pretty and located right on the waterfront so you get some great ocean views. It’s also fun to sit on the grass and watch the golfers play.

The Lodge at Pebble Beach is a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon! And if you’re looking to stay a night or two, you can either stay at the Lodge or at the Inn at Spanish Bay. Personally, I prefer the atmosphere at the Inn at Spanish Bay. Here is where you will find the cozy fire pits and can listen to the bag piper play at sunset. Regardless of where you choose to stay, there is a shuttle that runs between the two properties so you can easily visit them both!
