Earlier this month, my family and I went up to Napa to celebrate my 25th birthday. It was actually my first time in Napa (we usually go to the Sonoma side), and we had an amazing time! We started out the celebration at Domaine Carneros, which I had been wanting to visit for a while. FYI, I am planning to do a future post with all of our trip details. But first, I want to start out by sharing my birthday outfit in Napa!
I recently picked up this burgundy corduroy skirt from H&M and had been waiting for an occasion to wear it – and now I can’t stop wearing it! Burgundy is one of my favorite colors, especially for this time of year, and I think it is a universally flattering color. This skirt is currently sold out (fingers crossed they will restock), but this style from Nordstrom is very similar.
As the weather was warm on this day (in the mid-80s), I paired the skirt with a high-neck tank top. This one is from Hollister and is no longer available, but I love this mock neck option from Nordstrom and this scoop neck style from Express. For cooler weather, I would pair it with a long sleeve top or turtleneck, such as this one from Nordstrom or this pick from A&F. I styled the outfit with these black strappy sandals from Old Navy during the day, and then changed into this pair of over the knee boots from DSW for dinner.
