The Perfect Spring Look

sweater | twill jacket | scarf (sold out in this color) | jeans | tote | boots (no longer available, similar here)

This outfit is one of my new favorite looks for spring! I’ve already worn it several times and it’s perfect for those cooler spring days (aka every day in San Francisco…). I purchased this Old Navy twill jacket in olive and burgundy last year, and I wore them so often I had to get it in navy too! It’s a springtime staple in my wardrobe as it’s lightweight but a great layer to throw on. I also love the style of the jacket as it’s casual but looks put together. In terms of sizing, I personally find that Old Navy’s clothing runs a bit large. I purchased an XS and there’s still enough room to wear a thicker sweater underneath, such as this cream mockneck sweater also from Old Navy. The sweater comes in several other colors and is currently on sale for $13!

On the bottom, I wore these light wash high-waisted jeans from American Eagle. They’re very comfortable and have a lot of stretch to them so I would recommend sizing down one. I also wore my burgundy Hunter Chelsea booties. I really like the shorter style of these boots as they are very comfortable and easy to throw on for every day wear, especially if there are any rain showers in the forecast! These boots are from last season and are no longer available, but this style is similar.

To finish off the look, I added this beautiful light blue floral scarf from H&M. The scarf is currently sold out in this color but is available in a pink and orange floral print. I also brought along this spacious bag I got from DSW. I’m loving the classic style of it and it’s a great everyday bag as it fits quite a bit. It also comes in burgundy and light pink.

On this day, I went to the local farmers market to pick up a few items and came home with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. Picking up flowers is always a special treat as it isn’t something I do often. I love having fresh flowers in the home, but they can be pricey and never last very long (if you have any tips for how to keep them looking fresh, let me know!). But they are fun to pick up whenever I’m feeling a little indulgent!

Hope you have a great weekend!
