If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a big fan of the color blue (see this post), and I particularly love light blue for spring! I was browsing on the Shein site a few weeks back and spotted this beautiful light blue wrap coat that’s perfect for spring. I knew I needed it in my closet! This outfit is one of my new favorite wear-to-work looks and is very affordable!
This was my first purchase from Shein. I had heard quite a bit about the company and finally decided to check it out for myself. If you’re unfamiliar with Shein, it’s a brand that is known for having trendy and very affordable clothes. To be fully transparent, I didn’t find all items I ordered to be of high quality (not surprising given the prices…). However, I was pleasantly surprised by this blue wrap coat!
Although it is called a coat on the website, it is extremely lightweight and perfect for spring days. I, of course, was drawn to the light blue shade, but it is available in plenty of other colors! Check out the following photos to see a few different ways of how to style the coat. I think it looks great tied, loose showing off your clothing underneath, and with a scarf, which I also featured in this post.
Underneath the wrap coat, I wore a white lace tank from Abercrombie. I purchased it last year and have gotten a lot of wear out of it – it’s a great staple piece. This exact tank is currently sold out in white, but is available in a few other colors here and here. I’ve also found a few similar styles here, here, and here. My dark wash jeans are also from Abercrombie. I purchased mine from their outlet store, but this style looks similar.
Lastly, my black handbag is a recent pick from DSW. I am obsessed with the style of this bag – it is so classic and chic! It’s my new favorite bag to bring to work and it’s currently on sale for $30!
