Do you ever put on an outfit and instantly feel more confident and powerful? This blue wrap coat does that for me. There’s something about it that makes me feel like I can take on the world, and look extremely fashionable while doing so! In fact, I feel quite like Kate Middleton in it! That’s one of my favorite things about fashion – how it can instantly change your mood. And I love how reflective fashion is of your personality and how you choose to express yourself.
Moving on to the actual outfit details… I had my eye on this wrap coat from Cole Haan for about a month before I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it. And boy am I glad I did! The ice blue color is beautiful and I love the style of wrap coats – to me, they scream effortlessly chic! I do wish this coat came in petite sizes, as it is a bit larger than I would normally prefer. If you are petite (I’m 5’4″ for reference), I would recommend sizing down. It’s currently 40% off, and while still pricey, I do think it’s worth it. It also comes in three other classic colors, so you can’t go wrong!
On this particular night, we were having drinks and appetizers at the fire pits at Pebble Beach, so I didn’t want to be too dressy. Instead, I opted to pair the coat with my favorite black leggings from Victoria’s Secret. They are extremely flattering and hold their shape very well – highly recommend! They are currently on sale for $47 – major steal! And to finish the outfit off, I added these black booties from Charlotte Russe (also styled here and discussed more here).
