It’s been a rainy few days here in the Bay Area – we finally got a break from it today, but it rained all weekend! I don’t love the rain (probably the California girl in me), but I know we need it. And truth be told, it was fine timing as my weekend plans solely consisted of sitting in front of the TV and catching up on Netflix/watching the playoffs. Perfect time to be rained out!
Honestly, my favorite part of the rain is getting to pull out my rainy day clothing – anyone else? As it doesn’t rain here that frequently, I have to take advantage of it whenever I can! The item I was most excited to wear this weekend was this purple plaid scarf from Loft, which is currently 50% off! I ordered it during the Black Friday sale, and have been waiting for an opportunity to wear it. It is a blanket scarf so it’s pretty big (especially on more petite frames), but I love the fun pop of color it adds to an outfit! For another option, this purple plaid scarf from ASOS is similar.
I paired this beautiful scarf with my favorite London Fog raincoat (also seen in this post), my go-to Hunter rain boots (discussed more here), and this grey sweater from Everlane.
